INF

The central objective of INF is to generate a long-term Research Data Management (RDM) process and infrastructure for BULK-REACTION. This includes providing guidance, training, solutions and support regarding procedures and software such that an effective and appropriate handling of research data will be possible.

INF will organize and curate the highly heterogeneous data generated by the BULK-REACTION projects in a systematic manner and provide all researchers with the required tools and infrastructure for creating consistent, high-quality, documented, visible and reusable datasets in accordance with the FAIR principles; this applies to experimental as well as to theoretical/numerical investigations.

Management of the open-source BULK-REACTION DEM/CFD simulation platform

  • BULK-REACTION will fill a gap in an emerging field of simulation science and eliminate the deficiencies currently affecting all other simulation tools.

  • Perfect compatibility among numerical and experimental pre-/post-processing.

  • Project S will release, maintain and distribute this advanced CRC/TRR open-source DEM/CFD simulation platform across all three funding periods
