Transfer Projects

Transfer Projects within Collaborative Research Centres are designed to test the results of basic research in real-world settings or to further develop them, together with an application partner, into prototypes or demonstrator applications. Their central purpose is to promote the exchange of knowledge between research and practice for the benefit of both parties. Scientific findings can be evaluated under practical conditions, while the Collaborative Research Centre receives valuable feedback, new perspectives, and impulses from the field of application.

Within the framework of CRC/TRR 287, transfer projects will therefore facilitate the application of current research findings of reactive gas-particle systems in collaboration with prospective industrial partners, enable efficient exchange of research data, and foster further development of models required to generate industrial scale solutions.
